Although there is no tangible evidence the scientific community can measure, study and document, a high percentage of humankind has believed in something responsible for creating all the planets in the universe and was integral in formulating life. This belief system in a higher divine entity has existed since the beginning of civilization as evidenced by artifacts, written language and drawings found in Northern Africa and the middle east ,. . . . long believed to be the cradle of human origin. Let us explore together the concept of who or what God is. Many people believe in a singular creator God. This is a sensitive, subjective, serious and secretive subject most people avoid open debate and discussion on in social circles outside of faith based institutions or family settings.

The primary driving element of pursuing the understanding of God is the fact we humans can see the beginning and end of human life, . . . that is …,the birth and death of humans. People develop strong bonds, feelings and love with family, friends, even pets and when they die, people wonder what their fate post death is … will they ever see their loved ones again in another dimension at some future time ?

Many people believe in some sort of post death fate and the decisions and choices each individual makes here on Earth when they are alive determines this post life fate. An example of this would be asking ourselves if,.. say . . . . Mother Teresa who dedicated her life to helping the sick and poor has the same post death fate as Adolf Hitler who masterminded the deaths of millions of innocent people in the first half of the twentieth century. Although the physical body is left to deteriorate here on Earth, many people believe in an essence of a persons individuality that continues on after death commonly referred to or called…. “The Soul”.

The problem is, we will never know definitively if the soul is real, if there is a heaven or hell or nothingness after we die until we ourselves die and take our singular “Exit Journey” into the unknown. Some faith based institutions claim there is a paradise or heaven for those that lived a good life and performed the requirements set forth by their religion or belief system necessary to gain entry into such a place. This paradise or heaven is contrasted by the belief of a place not as pleasant or happy to dwell or exist in the afterlife with some religions calling this place Hell characterized by pain, discomfort and suffering for eternity along with other unfortunate souls and divine beings not born on Earth commonly called or referred to as fallen angels, demons or evil spirits.

This is heavy subject material to say the least and the reason the topic is avoided in everyday social conversation. But this is something most people don’t want to get wrong. The logic and common sense approach on this is ….. are you willing to bet your soul (if you have one) on getting this fundamental question wrong and suffer the consequences for your mistake in underestimating the importance and not giving this matter the attention it deserves with no hope of rescue or “do over” if you get it wrong ?

There are those that believe in reincarnation, or coming back to life again in another body…. This is not scientifically proven nor measured with tangible solid proof despite many cases of people giving amazingly detailed accounts of past lives… this may or may not be true as the supernatural realm is speculative and unproven in fact. Reincarnation may or may not be a part of the total sum aggregate knowledge of the universe that us humans know only a very micro percentage of.

Of the 8.25 billion worldwide population alive today in 2026, atheists represent roughly 1/10th of the world population . Atheist’s don’t believe in God or the devil or any creator deities with many of these atheists subscribing to the idea of evolution.
Evolution states that life formed on earth in the oceans from single celled organisms that eventually morphed into fish that migrated onto land and through environmental adaptations slowly transitioned into the creatures we know today including modern Homo Sapiens. The huge hole in this theory is where are all the transitional forms that should be in excessive abundance in the fossil record ? Where are they ? They don’t exist !

Is God real ? God may not be male nor female but for simplicity and communication purposes we will refer to God as him or he. Is he a hypothetical construct of the human imagination created to answer questions humans have about our origin, purpose, destiny and justice for the “wicked and righteous” among us ?
Certainly if God is real and you as an individual had questions about Gods existence, your life and sought him out….would he, in all his greatness and power leave you hanging or would he reveal himself to you and provide answers in a unique way that a deity of such majestic grandeur would ?

Many everyday folks around the world have issue with organized religion .. some of the core reasons for these issues include hypocrisy, scandals, money hungry millionaire ministers and legalistic rules of participation/membership or religions being like cults monopolizing every aspect of the members lives. Some people even believing that adherents to such religions are “brainwashed” in accepting abstract theologies and beliefs with some members becoming estranged with their families in favor of following their religious beliefs and practices.

Who is God ? Is he real or a figment of the human imagination? The only thing that really matters on this matter is what you believe in your mind and how you live your life based on these beliefs you hold. Eternity is a long time… are you ready for your exit journey ?
